Original - Meat Loaf

MEAT LOAF Live On Tour - Casa De Carne Tour (Original 2008 German tour poster [scheduled after the 2007 tour was cut short] for the concert held in Hamburg on 23rd July. Measuring 23" x 33", this example has been used by way of the pinholes to each corner, however, overall it remains excellent without any tears, rips or creases. A fabulous design which would look great framed)

Amazing - Buddy Guy

BUDDY GUY Feels Like Rain (1993 UK 11-track LP, featuring guest appearances from Bonnie Raitt, Paul Rodgers, Bill Payne, Richie Hayward & Travis Tritt, picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light wear from storage & the vinyl is Excellent with only a few faint paper scuffs not affecting play ORELP525)

Rare Prince items now in stock

This year marked the return of one of the most iconic performers in pop history, the one and only Prince. Known for his flair for the dramatic, and consistently great musical output over the last 30 years, Prince has maintained a solid fanbase over the years. We recently picked up a great Prince collection, including some fantastic rarities that are only usually seen in less than desirable condition. Below are just a few of the highlights availible now.

Sexy Dancer - Rare original 1979 UK Warner label 2-track 12" vinyl single also including Bambi, housed in a die-cut WEA label sleeve. The vinyl has only a few light surface marks on side 2, otherwise a top copy of this Prince rarity.

Purple Rain - Rare 1984 Mexican 9-track limited edition PICTURE DISC vinyl LP album - unreleased on this format in the UK and was pressed only in Mexico and is very limited and thus extremely hard to find now days, this copy is still housed in the custom printed clear PVC sleeve with white overprinted Spanish text & tracklisting. The PVC sleeve has a deletion drill hole in the bottom left corner and the vinyl is in excellent condition, but finding this item any condition from South American countries is very hard, a must have item for any fan!

 

 

Purple Rain - Vintage, original 1984 UK Warner promotional cinema poster for Prince's first motion picture. This fine example measures 30" x 40", and despite some very minor creasing to the edge through storage, which would be invisible with professional archivalframing, this is a stunning item. How many of these survived from movie theaters is anyones guess, and this is a piece of Prince history not to be missed out on.

I Wanna Be Your Lover - Rare 1979 Dutch wide- centred injection moulded 7" vinyl single, also including Just As Long As We're Together, unique picture sleeve. The sleeve has some light ringwear and edgewear, but remains in excellent conditin; the vinyl is in near 'as new' condition. This is the first copy we have seen in over 20 years!

Robert Plant: 'There's only me, Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart left'

The ex-Led Zeppelin star talks to Neil McCormick about the demise of great frontmen, what still drives him, and the chance of his old band ever reuniting

Robert Plant stands in the bright sunshine, eyes scanning a sunlit pedestrian square in Birmingham, while people pass on by, oblivious to the presence of one of rock and roll’s great frontmen. “I’ve been around so long I can be easily ignored,” he notes, with twinkly amusement. “Even people who know who I am think I’m dead.”
Plant doesn’t even look that different from the glory days of Led Zeppelin. The ringlets cascading around his weathered face are tinged with grey, and a cavalier goatee beard sprouts from his chin, but his whole bearing retains something proud and fearless. “There are only three or four frontmen left, from our time, who actually just kick the mic stand up and do it, and that’s me, Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger,” he says, thoughtfully rather than with arrogance. “But the only important thing is, can you contemporise your gift? Can I knock myself out, or am I just going through the motions? Because if I’m going through the motions, I’m f***ed.”

Ramones News

Billboard exclusively reports that reunited Ramones estates plan a big comeback, with a documentary, theatrical play, and Martin Scorese film in the works.

'The 40th anniversary of the Ramones is coming up in 2016, that's when the first album came out. So we have a lot of projects leading up to that. We're looking at a documentary on the Ramones, we just secured a ton of footage, much of which has never been seen before,' Jeff Jampol, who co-manages the band's estate with Dave Frey.

The documentary is just one of several projects in the works. Among the others are a theatrical play, a book and a film, which already has Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese attached.

MICHAEL JACKSON Souvenir Singles Pack (1987 UK limited edition 10-track 5 x 7" square vinyl picture disc singles pack complete with lyric/picture booklet. Presented in a custom title-printed fold-out PVC display wallet, the B-sides of the discs featuring different images of Michael, whilst the A-sides create a 14" x 21" iconic image of the superstar. There is a little shelfwear to the clear PVC packaging but otherwise appears in excellent condition MJ5)

Beatles Jigsaws - one for all the family!

THE BEATLES Five Jigsaws

Wonderful collection of no fewer than five jigsaws, four of which are a thousand pieces, each one of which has been painstakingly counted by our very own <strike>gullible victim</strike> willing volunteer and all are therefore guaranteed complete. The first is a 3D 'PuzziSphere', making into a spherical design of a collage of Album covers. The next in line is a wonderful regular jigsaw depicting the seven faces of John as he changed from schoolboy to forty year old. Third is a photomosaic of the inner of the Sgt Pepper sleeve, created completely from miniature photographs of the band and their albums, laid out to provide the colouring to present a complete picture to the eye. Fourth is a collection of Beatles album covers from Please Please Me through to Let It Be. Last, but not least, is a deluxe puzzle featuring the art of Leon Evans that assembles to depict three portraits of George. A wonderful collection, guaranteed complete, that will generate hours of fun for all the family

Custom stamped inner rim on each disc and housed in a fat double case with a promotional stickered back insert and front picture insert, also includes a photobooklet, lyric booklet, an extra 24-page promo-only booklet and the original obi-strip.
