SMASHING PUMPKINS Gish (Very, very cool Fully Autographed 1991 US original 10-track LP, the platinum selling debut by Chicago's finest alternative band, which arrived several months before Nirvana's Nevermind & was the slicker, more psychedelic-rock sounding of the two Butch Vig produced albums that year. Complete with illustrated credits inner, the glossy picture sleeve is already a thing of beauty - the back panel has been personalised in the most unique way, with the classicoriginal line-up signatures of Billy Corgan, James Iha, D'arcy Wretzky & Jimmy Chamberlin, all in deep red marker pen, beautifully offset against the white & in keeping with the red text print, with special doodles & the confirmed date of 1996 provided by Billy. What's more, the sleeve shows minimal wear & the vinyl looks barely played. A serious collector's piece worthy of framing! CAROL1705)

Blondie star Debbie Harry tells Hermione Hoby about her journey from Seventies New York to Somerset
Women, especially, seem to go to pieces in Debbie Harry’s presence. When she featured on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, Kirsty Young, the normally phlegmatic host, confessed to Harry that she’d wasted a good 10 years of her life trying to be her. Another interview I watched begins with a thirtysomething female journalist blurting out: “Do you just wake up every morning and go, ‘Oh my god, I’m Debbie Harry’?” She doesn’t: after nearly 70 years Debbie Harry is used to being Debbie Harry. But for everyone else, the awe is at such an adolescent-intensity that the words “oh my god” can sometimes seem like her honorific.
Blondie began, as so many bands did, in downtown Seventies New York, but their sex-bomb singer, with those movie-star looks and that voice that slipped between sugar sweet and street raunch made them stand out from the crowd. They went on to redefine pop music with a phenomenal run of hits. Forty years on and seemingly more popular than ever, with a new album and about to play Glastonbury festival for the fourth time, they remain a pop band with a punk sensibility, forever defined by the frontwoman whom almost every female musician seems to name as an idol.

If you're a Blondie collector, look no further. We've had some amazing collectables in recently - see them here

DREAM THEATER Through Her Eyes 2000 German issue 4-track CD single featuring the Radio Edit & Alternate Album Mix plus live versions of Home and the 6-part When Images And Words Unite, housed in the slimline jewel case with the picture sleeveinlay which has been FULLY AUTOGRAPHED by the classic era line-up of Jamie LaBrie, John Petrucci, Jordan Rudess, John Myung and the original drummer Mike Portnoy [who is no longer with the group]!
VELVET UNDERGROUND Squeeze 1972 UK 11-track LP, picture sleeve. Very unusual footnote to the Velvet Underground's career in that this seldom seen album features none of the original members! Mo Tucker toured with the band during this period but left shortly before the album was recorded, all songs are written and sung by Doug Yule who was featured heavily on the band's previous album Loaded and all drumming duties are performed by a certain Ian Paice of Deep Purple, needless to say the album sold in very small quantities and has remained an elusive item in the Velvet's catalogue ever since. The sleeve shows very little wear and the vinyl is superb and looks barely played
STACKRIDGE Stackridge Original 1971 UK red & purple MCA 'arrow' label 9-track stereo LP, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows negligible shelfwear and some light edgewear & the vinyl is superb - a great copy! MDKS8002

DAVID BOWIE The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars Rare 1972/73 Japanese 2nd issue 11-track vinyl LP including fold out Japanese/lyric insert, picture sleeve & complete with legendary red & white 'Glam Rock' obi-strip. This copy remains in beautiful near 'as new' MINT condition - a stunning copy
BOB DYLAN Masterpieces Rare 1978 Japanese 39-track triple LP, housed in a superb tri-fold picture sleeve complete with 23" x 33" fold-out poster, numbered fan certificate, illustrated 40-page booklet with lyrics in English & Japanese, fold-out colour picture/discography insert & wide title obi-strip. The sleeve has a slight crease in the top right corner and a ½" seam split in the top edge of the back, plus there is a 1" split along the bottom edge of obi, but otherwise their condition is excellent. The three vinyl discs have been carefully inspected, revealing few signs of play and in near 'as new' mint condition - hard to find complete! 57AP875~7
SANTANA Lotus 1975 German 23-track triple live LP, complete with original 'Santana Lotus' die-cut paper inners & two superb fold out picture inserts with tracklistings & details of the musicians on each track, all housed in a wonderful tri-fold picture sleeve, which when fully opened is a thing of beauty! The sleeve shows a little weakening & minor splits along the spine due to the sheer weight of the package, which is not uncommon with this release, with clean covers & inner spreads. All three vinyl discs still look barely touched CBS66325

JIMI HENDRIX Smash Hits Rare original 1969 Japanese Nippon Grammophon pressed 12-track stereo vinyl compilation LP, housed in a unique pasted picture sleeve in the classic Experience 'fish eye lens' style by Karl Ferris with the lyrics to seven songs on the reverse, COMPLETE with English lyric insert with the remaining lyrics & the impossibly rare original obi-strip! SMP-1413
CREAM Disraeli Gears Late 60s Rhodesian 11-track mono vinyl LP, pressed by Mackays using UK Reaction 593003 plates on to heavyweight vinyl, front laminated pinched spine picture sleeve. The sleeve clearly has the 'MACKAYS' stamp in pink on the back, but otherwise is a clone of the second issue Reaction sleeve from the UK, even to the extent of still having 'Reaction' in the bottom right corner. Another anomaly with this edition is that the labels are clearly marked 'Stereo', eventhough the album is actually the mono version. The sleeve shows little in the way of shelfwear with just some light creasing to the laminate in places. The vinyl shows just a couple of light surface scuffs which have no effect on play. In fact, upon playtesting, this album displays all the beefy goodness of an original Reaction press, with background noise at a minimum. An amazing copy of this hard to find issue in beautiful mono LPHM84710
METALLICA Flaming Skull Hockey Shirt Rare original vintage 1997 US extra large sized black, grey and white polyester hockey shirt in the LA Kings Raiders colours, featuring a superb full colour embroidered flaming skull image across the front by Pushead along with a ninja star embroidered on the right shoulder, the back has Metallica and 97 text. This was sold at shows throughout the US during tour to support the 'Load/ReLoad' albums, additionally it was available for a short time through their fan club. This has been worn but shows little signs of wear or age and has no snags, tears or holes and is still in a fantastic condition. This is only the second example of this now rare and very sought after jersey we have ever had the pleasure to offer, must have for any fan

Original Bob Dylan records are usually hard to come by. They have often, and rightfully so, been played to within an inch of their lives, and have seen better days. That was not the case this time around. We successfully picked up a small collection of some of Bob Dylan's finest work all in at least Excellent condition, and some of the nicest original Mono pressings we have seen in 30 years. Below are just some of the highlights
Bringing It All Back Home - Scarce 1965 UK 11-track mono vinyl LP on the rough textured orange label, front laminated picture sleeve with rounded flipbacks. This is the original issue from May 1965. The label is of the 'rough' CBS variety, with centre boxed logo, '33' instead of '33 1/3' near the bottom left corner of the logo & 'Blossom Music Ltd' Credit to the centre right. Including Dylan favourites 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' and 'Mr Tambourine Man'. Essential
Blonde On Blonde - Rare 1966 UK first issue 14-track 'rough' textured label MONO double LP, containing the earlier Canadian mono mix on sides one & two & the later US mono mix on sides three & four, a peculiarity exclusive to the UK mono release. This copy also has the very rare mistitle with the second track on side two being listed as 'Memphis Blues Again' where most were titled 'Stuck Inside Of Mobile With Thee'. The front laminated flipback gatefold sleeve has the ninepicture panel inside featuring Claudia Cardinale & non die cut CBS catalogue printed paper inners. The sleeve shows few signs of age with minimal shelfwear & the vinyl too remains EX-/EX showing just the odd light surface scuff or hairline, even after forty five years - an excellent copy of this fantastic album
Highway 61 Revisited - Rare 1965 first UK issue 9-track mono LP on the 'rough' textured orange label, front laminated picture sleeve with rounded flipbacks. The sleeve shows a light corner crease & a small name penned on the back, which is unobtrusive to the print. All text remains clearly legible, including along the spine, the flipbacks are secure & the print unblemished. The vinyl is in excellent condition with just a few light paper scuffs to indicate play

The sleeve is otherwise excellent with just a little minor scuffing. The vinyl is super clean & shows barely any evidence of play
