Ex-Genesis guitarist and lead singer from Mike and the Mechanics, Mike Rutherford joined Alan yesterday to talk about his memoir The Living Years.
The book marks the 25th anniversary of the seminal Mike and the Mechanics album of the same name which was a number 1 hit worldwide. To mark the anniversary, there will be a re-issue of both the album and single and a nationwide tour.
Presented on the show were various vinyl records, notably an early copy of the Genesis album A Trick Of The Tail, both the UK pressing and a rare Italian issue in a unique picture sleeve - these were on loan from 991.com.
