JIMI HENDRIX Electric Ladyland
Rare 1971 UK second issue of the classic 1968 16-track double vinyl LP, housed in a fully laminated Ernest J. Day gatefold sleeve with smaller images inside of Mitch & Noel. The sleeve has a little ring wear & creasing to the laminate & a name indentation on the back (the ink has all but faded), yet there are no splits & the inside print is unblemished with rich, vivid colours. Despite some spindle marks to the labels, both vinyl discs are clean & playthrough without fault. There are a number of light scuffs & the odd hairline but nothing that upsets playback. By no means mint, this remains a very respectable copy of an all time classic & at the fraction of the cost of a mint one!
Rare 1970 UK second issue 10-track vinyl LP with smooth green Chrysalis labels and A2/B1 matrices, housed in a matt finish pinched spine sleeve. This was one of only two issues of this album to carry the Island catalogue number and the 'i' on the green label, and was released before the pink rim Island label press. The sleeve shows some light spine/edge wear but remains free of any marks, rips or tears. The labels are showing only a few spindle marks whilst the vinyl has only a few light surface scuffs, a great EX+ play copy of this classic early Tull instalment!
Rare 1969 UK first pressing 6-track stereo LP on the unboxed Decca logo label, comprises a studio side and a live side recorded on 12/05/69 in Edmonton, London. Comes in a front laminated picture sleeve with die-cut mono/stereo identifier on the back and correct blue bordered poly-lined inner. The sleeve is strictly graded VG+/EX-, with some minor shelfwear. The previous owner has also neatly written their name on the back. The vinyl is also VG+/EX- with some light surface marks and paper scuffs which do not affect play. A very respectable play copy.
