MOTORHEAD Remo Autograph Head

Rare official UK Autographed 14" Remo 'Autograph Head' drum skin, featuring the 'War Pig' group logo stamped in the centre with 'Motorhead England' text and the manufacture logo at the top. This has been signed by the current drummer Mikey Dee who has also written the date '07', all in a black marker pen. Mikey has been with the band for twenty years [since 1992] making him a true member of the band, ideal item to be displayed on any fans wall.

 

DANZIG Danzig 4

Very Rare 1994 US first pressing 12-track vinyl LP, with embossed gatefold picture sleeve, that has been AUTOGRAPHED on the inside of the sleeve in black marker pen by none other than Glenn Danzig himself! A fine body of Danzig's workas it is, featuring some of his most dark and brooding moments such as Brand New God, Dominion, and Son Of The Morning Star. Sleeve does show some minor wear, but the autograph is unblemished on the inside, and the vinyl itself is in spectacularNEAR MINT condition. Glenn Danzig is sometimes known to be an intensely private individual, so having something autographed by the king of horror punk will make a great collectors item to anyone who is a fan of Danzig!

 

URCHIN She's A Roller

Legendary 1978 UK DJM label 7" single, also Long Time No Woman. Written by and features Adrian Smith before he became a member of Iron Maiden. For a brief time Dave Murray was also part of the band and is rumoured tobe part on the recording, though different sources argue this. Comes with the rare original picture sleeve, this was only issued as a promo and not with the commercial release. The sleeve is strictly graded EX, with some minor shelfwear on the edgesand a small tear on the top opening edge on the back. The vinyl remains a beautiful EX-/EX with just a few light surface marks, we play tested this single and can confirm these do not effect play and actually still sounds outstanding. A very respectable copy of this now very sought after release.

Rare 1966 Japanese solid centre Nippon Columbia, orange CBS label, stereo 7" EP featuring Like A Rolling Stone, From A Buick 6, Highway 61 Revisited & Mr Tambourine Man, with foldout Japanese/lyric insert, unique flipbackpicture sleeve. From A Buick 6 is not the harmonica intro take as on the first US & Japanese pressings but the regular version, otherwise unavailable on a Japanese album at the time. The vinyl has some visible surface marks, reflected in theprice, but plays without fault & the sleeve is superb with only some light foxing and minimal shelfwear - a great copy at a great price!

 

JIMI HENDRIX Hey Joe

Rare original 1968 Japanese wide centre 7" single manufactured by Nippon Grammophon, also includes Stone Free. Unique flipback picture sleeve with lyrics printed on reverse. The sleeve shows just some light creasing with ageand the vinyl a few light paper scuffs, but otherwise both are in excellent condition. Fantstic copy of this hard to find almost 45 year old single.

 

ROLLING STONES Time Is On My Side

Rare original 1965 Japanese London/King Record Co. 7" vinyl single with Congratulations on the b-side. Housed in a pink & black record company sleeve and comes complete with the unique yellow/green tinted fold out picture insert, with pink title borders, and printed with Japanese biography and English lyrics to both tracks on the inside, the back features adverts for other releases and has a '¥330' price printed in the bottom right corner. The viny lhas only a few very light surface marks but plays without any problems, the insert is in near mint condition. A fantastic copy of this now hard to find almost 50 year old single.

JOHN COLTRANE Giant Steps

Rare 1960 first UK pressing 7-track deep groove mono LP, a landmark recording and one of the greatest musical achievements in American jazz. Includes the jaw-dropping rollercoaster ride of the title track and Countdown,plus the beautiful, mature ballad Naima, written by Trane for his then-wife, Juanita Naima Grubbs. The front laminated sleeve has some discolouring at the edges but has survived over half a century and remains in very good condition. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned and has come up looking sparkling, with just a few light paper scuffs to show for its age. The condition is excellent and the sound immense!

 

QUEEN Now I'm Here

Original 1974 issue Japanese Elektra white title label promotional sample 7" single also including Lily Of The Valley, housed in a record company sleeve and comes complete with a unique picture insert with lyrics on reverse. Apart from some light storage wear the insert is in outstanding condition, the vinyl is immaculate.

The classic live album featuring recordings made in Osaka & Tokyo, in August 1972. Housed in a laminated gatefold picture sleeve which apart from some minor storage wear on the edges is in superb shape for its 39 years, The vinyl LPs show the lightest of spindle wear to the label, with the playing surface on both in spectacular NEAR MINT condition, retaining a clean, bright lustre - overall an superb copy of this now very sought after pressing.

Mega rare original 1982 UK green injection moulded label 7" single, also includes Submarine, this copy comes in the now very sought after ultra rare picture sleeve. The vinyl is in near mint condition; the all important sleeve has only a few light signs of age with only very very light storage ring wear present but has no rips or creases. Rare original 1971 UK 9-track LP on the plum and red Atlantic label with A1/B1 matrices, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve designed by renowned cover artist Roger Dean with lyrics and 8-page integral colour booklet. 'John, I'm Only Dancing' was originally released on 1st September 1972 on RCA as the follow-up single to 'Starman', and reached number 12 on the UK charts, immediately becoming a live favourite with the fans, though it never appeared on one of Bowie's studio albums.

This double A side includes newly remastered versions of the original single version produced by David alone at Olympic Studios on June 26th 1972; plus a punchier new take, recorded in January 1973, with tighter guitar and sax played by Keith Fordham [often referred to by fans as the 'sax version'].  The image on the A-side features a shot from Mick Rock's original promo film for the original single version, while the AA-side displays an image taken by photographer Sukita at the Radio City Music Hall in New York in February 1973.

 

Originally issued in the UK via RCA on November 14th 1972, 'The Jean Genie' was the first single taken from his then still-to-be released album 'Aladdin Sane'.

This double A side includes a newly remastered version of the original single version; plus the audio from the recently-recovered BBC Top Of The Pops performance of 'The Jean Genie' from January 1973, which captures the blazing confidence of Bowie and the fabled Spiders from Mars at their peak.

LEFT-HANDED MARRIAGE On The Right Side Of The Left-Handed Marriage

Rare 1996 UK 18-track Limited Edition vinyl LP - In the summer of 1965, in a corner of Hampton Grammar School, Bill Richards [who had been a fleeting, early member of 1984before it acquired its futuristic name], and his colleagues Jenny Hill, Henry Deval and Terry Goulds, formed a folk-rock band, named after an archaic form of marrying beneath oneself. By January 1967, the quartet had progressed to the point where they had issued their own privately-pressed album, 'On The Right Side Of The Left-Handed Marriage', which ran to just fifty copies - making this a prized possession in psych circles. This album is also noted by Queen fans as the picture sleeve features a very young Brian May! The limited hand-numbered gatefold picture sleeve is in near mint condition and the vinyl looks unplayed!

Rare 1971 UK first pressing 'swirl' label 8-track LP, complete with matching swirl inner & ultra rare fold out poster in fully laminated & embossed box picture sleeve. The box sleeve has survived amazingly well with just a little laminate lift near the spine, a couple of minor laminate creases and minimal general shelfwear with no rips or tears. The poster remains in excellent near 'as new' condition. The vinyl also is beautiful & has obviously been very well looked after & remains in perfect condition. A beautiful copy of this of this rare 'swirl' release!

 

TRAFFIC John Barleycorn Must Die

1970 UK Island 6-track stereo LP on the rough textured pink 'i' logo label. The gatefold picture sleeve shows only the very lightest signs of edge wear and the vinyl looks barely played, retaining a beautiful lustre over forty years on - a great copy with little need to upgrade!

Super limited 2006 UK 10-track LP - a project based upon orchestral reworkings of the music written by The White Stripes, contracted for the Millennia Ensemble and endorsed by Jack White, housed in a custom number stickered sleeve complete with tracklist/credits inner, bonus 10" square silkscreen print plus ten picture cards. The picture sleeve shows minimal signs of edge wear and the vinyl looks barely played.

The labels are clean and unmarked; the vinyl has been professionally cleaned and shows only the very lightest signs of play. This is a fantastic condition copy on the right side of excellent and grades a very healthy EX+ so comes highly recommended.

Stunning FULLY AUTOGRAPHED 8" x 10" colour publicity photograph of the band in a pool hall with Morrissey lying across the pool table. The picture has been clearly signed in gold marker pen by Morrissey, in black by Johnny Marr and in blue by Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce. A fabulous 100% genuine item that would look stunning framed!

Rare 2004 UK limited edition 2-track debut vinyl 7" single from the Pete Doherty led Libertines off shoot on High Society Records. Rare 1969 silver and black Columbia label second issue of the 1968 7-track STEREO vinyl LP, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The labels have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' text around the rim and ONE 'boxed' EMI logo - this was only used in 1969 before the introduction of the 'two box' label in 1970. The sleeve shows only minor wear and the vinyl is in stunning condition - a superb copy!
