Housed in the original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with changed credits on the back. Comes complete with the rare original Japanese promotional only 7" flexi disc featuring an interview with Mick Jagger [in its own unique custom paper picture sleeve which is pristine] and Japanese issue inserts - one with lyrics, the other with biography and transcript of the interview!

SEX PISTOLS God Save The Queen

BOB DYLAN Mr D's Collection #1

Super rare 1970s Japanese CBS Sony orange and cream label 10-track promotional only vinyl LP - issued exclusively to radio stations, and part of a series of three promotional only formats. Features hard to find recordings including legendary early 'electric' B-side Mixed Up Confusion and a live version of Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues recorded in Liverpool on the '66 world tour. Housed in its original unique custom illustrated, textured picture sleeve which remains in remarkable condition with only a little light foxing/discolouration visible, intact seams and clearly legible spine print. The vinyl remains a beautiful near MINT! YBPC-2.

FRANK ZAPPA Frank Zappa And The Mothers Of Invention

Very rare 1976 Dutch exclusive 5-track 'BOEK EN PLAAT' book club LP which combines side one of 'Hot Rats' with side two of 'Burnt Weeny Sandwich'. Limited to a mere 500 copies, this LP also has a unique front laminated pasted picture sleeve. Much sought after & seldom found, this unique compilation is in great condition with just a little edge scuffing & the beginnings of a small split at the bottom seam opening, otherwise minimal shelfwear. The vinyl,with matrix #030976, is immaculate. The A side label is titled 'Hot Rats' & lists 'Son Of Mr. Genes' with the B side correctly listed as 'Burnt Weeny Sandwich' but crediting a 'Frank Zapa'. This LP was never available for retail sale & was not released anywhere else in the world in this configuration - A great copy of this very rare FZ pressing! D116/0.

Neil Young's eco car blamed for warehouse blaze

Singer's battery-powered vehicle linked to fire in storage facility, causing an estimated $1m in damage

Neil Young's fuel-efficient car has been linked to a warehouse fire in San Francisco, which saw vintage guitars and memorabilia owned by the singer go up in smoke. This battery-powered car, a converted 1959 Lincoln Continental, was the inspiration for Young's 2009 album, Fork In The Road

According to LincVolt.com, the vehicle's charging system was responsible for a blaze that ripped through a warehouse in San Francisco's San Carlos neighbourhood on 9th November. The 10,000 sq-ft space contained paintings, instruments and vintage cars owned by Young, including the LincVolt. Although Young has blamed the fire on "human error", authorities are blaming the hybrid vehicle, according to Spinner.

David Crosby preparing first solo gig in LA in 20 years

It has been twenty years since David Crosby last took the stage solo in Los Angeles but he will end that drought on Monday, December 13 at the Avalon Hollywood in a show to benefit The Blank Theatre
Company.

The company, formed in 1990, is dedicated to excellence and innovation in the theater arts, aiming to become Hollywood's first regional theater company. Noah Wyle (E.R.) is the group's artistic producer and vice chairman of the board while Debbie Reynolds, Tiffani Thiessen and Vanessa Williams are among those on the advisory board.

Recorded during the late spring of the year, the album's creation was thrown into turmoil by the poor health and sad eventual passing of Philip Campbell's father; the situation dictated that Philip needed to be home during some of the scheduled recording time, so Motorhead hired a studio in Wales where Campbell was able to continue working on ideas and record tracks whilst first Mikkey and Lemmy, and then just Lemmy, laid down the rest of the album in LA. But being Motorhead nothing phased them, and with 'The Wörld Is Yours' the band have triumphed over adversity to produce an absolute stormer in this, their 35th year as THE greatest, loudest and just plain goddam coolest band around.

Patti Smith wins National Book Award

Patti Smith has taken the National Book Award for nonfiction home on Wednesday night for her book 'Just Kids'.

The book tells the story of her relationship with artist Robert Mapplethorpe and details a time when New York was the hip and swinging place to be.

'I dreamed of having a book of my own, of writing one that I could put on a shelf,' she said at the ceremony while accepting her award. 'Please, no matter how we advance technologically, please don't abandon the book. There is nothing in our material world more beautiful than the book.'

The National Book Awards have been running in New York since 1950 with the goal of 'enhancing the public's awareness of exceptional books written by fellow Americans, and to increase the popularity of reading in general.'

Duffy returns with her new, eagerly anticipated album, 'Endlessly', on November 29th. 'Endlessly' was co-written and co-produced by Duffy and legendary songwriter and producer Albert Hammond ('The Air That I Breathe', 'When I Need You', 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now').
The new collection was recorded in New York, London and Spain represents the next chapter and clearly establishes Duffy as one of the biggest talents in music today. 'Endlessly' follows up her 2008 debut album 'Rockferry' which had worldwide sales of 6.5 million.
Preceding the release of the new album is the catchy lead single, 'Well, Well, Well' which includes Duffy's musical collaborators The Roots.
'Endlessly' begins with the catchy soul-disco track 'My Boy' and is followed by the heartbreaking, 'Too Hurt To Dance'. A Duffy personal favourite is 'Don't Forsake Me', a song filled with emotion and longing. "This is the song of my life," admits Duffy.
