One of the UK's biggest breakthrough acts of 2010, Diana Vickers, is set to release her third single with her most personal track to date.
My Wicked Heart's hushed beginning quickly switches into a loud, captivating crescendo and chorus, showing off Diana's distinct vocals and extensive range. It's one of those songs that stops you in your tracks. Explaining the song, Diana said "It's about sexual attraction. It's about wanting to be intimate with somebody for one night only, even though for so many reasons it's wrong, you can't help yourself"
This single is stamped with Diana's signature quirkiness but shows another side to the blossoming artist and Diana explains why she is so excited for her fans to hear it, "I was just trying things in the studio with a new songwriter, Dee Adams, and we ended up writing 'My Wicked Heart'. We were so excited about it, to the point where I just wanted everyone to hear it as soon as possible! I think it shows a different side to me and it's a track I've written which I'm really proud of. I feel I've grown up a lot since I wrote the last album and this track really shows that."
