Wow! Aerosmith and Guns N Roses on the same bill - in fact on the same stage performing together at one point - that must have been one hell of a gig!
Back in '88, Guns and Roses were at the start of their meteoric rise to rock megastardom whilst Aerosmith were arguably at the very top of their game. For those of us weren't lucky enough to be on the road crew, here's a chance to capture a moment of pure rock and roll excess and own one of the exclusive crew jackets from the Permanent Vacation tour.
(Please click the image to view the full details of the item.)
This jacket was issued only to the crew and it was issued specifically for the two dates at the Pacific Amphitheatre making it a rare memento of a specific moment in time. If you have any questions about the condition or size of the jacket, or just feel like throwing a TV out of your hotel window and staying awake for a week, then by all means give me a call, Matt +44 (0)1474 816054

The legendary Michael Jackson epic megamix was the mainstay of many a travelling disco thoughout the early eighties. When the party refused to get started, there was no surer way to get akward teenagers on the dance floor than to slap this platter on the wheels of steel and let the King of Pop do his thing.
Now you too can put on your glitter glove, break out your best moonwalk and fail utterly to impress the girls while playing this rare, original promo copy of the ultimate eighties floor filler.

Promos like this were never produced in large quantities and many were played to death at prom nights and school discos across the world, so it's quite hard to find good copies these days. If you need any further details or would like to order this great raritry please call me, Matt on +44 (0) 1474 816054

Ex-Warner Music head believes 'revolutionary' reduction in price would combat piracy and give sales a massive boost.
A former major-label boss has called for a radical drop in the price of albums.
Rob Dickins, who ran the UK division of Warner Music for 15 years, made the suggestion at Manchester's In the City music indusrty conference last week, claiming the move would combat piracy and give sales a massive boost.
Dickins achieved success with acts such as REM and Madonna between 1983 and 1998. Since then, album sales have gone into freefall, and he claimed the only way back is a "revolutionary" reduction in price, according to the BBC.
"What we need is a revolution. What we've got is an erosion," Dickins said. "When I was running Warners, a chart CD could be £12.99. A chart CD can now be £6.99, maybe even £5.99."

Interviews with friends, peers and admirers will include Dave Grohl, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, former Hawkwind bandmates Dave Brock and Stacia, Steve Vai and more.

For those that want to wallow in a bit of grunge nostalgia, running from April 16, 2011 through to April 22, 2013, "Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses" is booked to open at the Frank Gehry-designed Experience Music Project in Seattle. Pitchfork news:
"The show includes more than 200 artifacts connected to the band and the scene that surrounded them. Those items include a painting that Kurt Cobain did in high school, the reel-to-reel machine that Cobain used to record his earliest bands, and the yellow cardigan that Cobain wore constantly from 1991 until his death in 1994, not to mention hand-written lyrics, instruments, and many photos...
...Around the time the exhibit opens, Fantagraphics Books will publish Taking Punk to the Masses: From Nowhere to Nevermind, a 250-page book about Nirvana and the rise of grunge."

... a surprise gig for surprised schoolkids in Oxford, no less. With news courtesy of XFM, this was actually a Witchwood School Of Rock class with guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thai and drummer Frank Ferrer, so unfortunately no Axl preaching his bandana & shorts routine. However, Planet Rock are armed with a full review of the full current GnR live line-up following last night's London gig.

Among the many candid snaps are pictures of the road crew and entourage, concert venues, the musicians and personal photographs of Agnetha, Frida, Bjorn and Benny.

After reconvening in February 2010, a period of writing and pre-production in Glasgow was followed by a trip to Los Angeles for recording with Tony Hoffer [who also produced 'The Life Pursuit'] at the renowned Sound Factory Studio B. As ever, the record draws the band's internal songwriting strengths, but this time includes some guest performances. Stuart Murdoch wrote the majority of the songs on the album, while Sarah Martin takes lead vocals on her two contributions, 'I Didn't See It Coming' and 'I Can See Your Future' and Stevie Jackson on his ['I'm Not Living In The Real World']. In addition, Norah Jones contributes lead vocals to 'Little Lou, Ugly Jack, Prophet John' (which also appears on her forthcoming album of duets and collaborations called 'Featuring') and actress Carey Mulligan sings on the single 'Write About Love'. Strings were added by LA residents The Section Quartet. bonus tracks expected!

Here are three beauty's to set your world alight, including the "holiest of holy Beatles collectibles".
Rare 1963 UK black and gold Parlophone label STEREO issue 14-track vinyl LP - the holiest of holy Beatles collectibles, released 6 weeks later than the mono edition, featuring the infamous John Lennon mistakein the final verse of the title track; presented in a front laminated picture sleeve, complete with original Emitex inner. Visually, this copy isn't the most beautiful, with the sleeve showing signs of ringwear, laminate creasing and a tear tothe bottom flipback. The vinyl too, shows surface marks, proving it has been enjoyed. However, once set a top the turntable, the sonic beauty overpowers these superficial physical imperfections, without a skip or jump to be heard, only the comforting light pop and crackle synonymous with the medium. A truly unique chance to own THE Beatles collectible at a truly advantageous price. Whoever said beauty is only skin deep was sadly mistaken.
THE WHO Live At Leeds
Scarce 1995 US MCA label limited edition remastered 14-track CD housed inside a superb numbered and embossed 12" gatefold card picture box reproducing the original album artwork even the original vinyl, including previously unreleased tracks and remixes, plus twelve reproduction inserts per the original release including a poster, photograph and reproduction band letters, receipts and lyrics.
AUDIENCE Audience
Original 1969 UK 12-track stereo LP [A1/B1 matrices], the progressive rock group's debut album and almost mythical in its rarity, supposedly selling in such small quantities at the time that it was immediately withdrawn! Includes an early rough & ready version of 'House On The Hill'. Housed in its original textured 'blacklite' picture sleeve, the sleeve shows barely any discernible wear with age and the vinyl too remains immaculate. An astonishing copy of this legendary prog rarity
