Sir Tom Jones is set to release 'Greatest Hits – Rediscovered' on November 8th. The album - a musical timeline of hit singles spanning almost five decades - comes in the wake of what has been an extraordinary 2010. A year that has seen Sir Tom celebrate his 70th birthday and bask gracefully in the plaudits afforded his most recent album 'Praise & Blame', coveting critical and commercial acclaim from all quarters and lauded as one of the year's highlights.

Dave Grohl reveals UK Foo Fighters gigs and movie plans

Dave Grohl has announced the return of Foo Fighters with two UK gigs and plans for a film. He rang in to Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show to reveal they will play the Milton Keynes Bowl in Buckinghamshire on 2nd and 3rd July next year.

The band is halfway through recording its new album in Dave Grohl's garage. He admits the pressure is on to finish it: "It's weird to put the biggest show we've pretty much ever played on sale when we're halfway done.

"But I promise you the record will be done. We're seven songs in with five or six more we're gonna do. "The last month and a half we've been recording in my garage, totally old school analogue."

Following months of speculation Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams confirmed in July that they have been recording a new studio album as a five piece. Released on 22 Nobember it is the first time they've recorded a full album together since the release of their number one album ‘Nobody Else’, back in 1995.

"Getting the five of us to be in a room together, although always a dream, never actually seemed like becoming a reality. Now the reality of the five of us making a record together feels like a dream. It's been an absolute delight spending time with Rob again. But I'm still a better footballer" - Mark Owen.

"I get embarrassingly excited when the five of us are in a room. It feels like coming home" - Robbie Williams.

"Flippin' brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I'm over the moon that Robbie's back with us, however long it lasts. I just want to enjoy our time with him. Life is beautifully strange sometimes" - Jason Orange.

The reunion of reunions took place in New York last September, following Take That's record-breaking 'The Circus Live' tour. Shortly afterwards all five of the original Take That secretly wrote and recorded the six songs for the Stuart Price produced album that includes the first single 'The Flood'.

TAKE THAT 'The Flood' [Release Date 08/11/2010]

Following possibly the most exciting reunion in British pop history, Take That finally unveil the title of their long awaited new single. 'The Flood' will be the first song from the band's forthcoming album and will be released through Polydor Records on November 15th.

There has been speculation and excitement aplenty since the band reformed as a five piece, fuelled recently by pictures of Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie published rowing on the river Thames. This can now be confirmed as the making of the video for 'The Flood' which was filmed on location at Dorney Lake in Eton and on the Thames outside Westminster.

The video, which was shot by Mat Whitecross who directed the Ian Drury biopic 'Sex & Drugs & Rock n Roll' and Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida', will be premiered on terrestrial television in October to coincide with the first radio play of the song.

DIANA VICKERS 'My Wicked Heart' [Release Date 01/11/2010]

One of the UK's biggest breakthrough acts of 2010, Diana Vickers, is set to release her third single with her most personal track to date.

My Wicked Heart's hushed beginning quickly switches into a loud, captivating crescendo and chorus, showing off Diana's distinct vocals and extensive range. It's one of those songs that stops you in your tracks. Explaining the song, Diana said "It's about sexual attraction. It's about wanting to be intimate with somebody for one night only, even though for so many reasons it's wrong, you can't help yourself"

This single is stamped with Diana's signature quirkiness but shows another side to the blossoming artist and Diana explains why she is so excited for her fans to hear it, "I was just trying things in the studio with a new songwriter, Dee Adams, and we ended up writing 'My Wicked Heart'. We were so excited about it, to the point where I just wanted everyone to hear it as soon as possible! I think it shows a different side to me and it's a track I've written which I'm really proud of. I feel I've grown up a lot since I wrote the last album and this track really shows that."

This copy has just the lightest wear line on the middle of the back cover and is otherwise excellent whilst the vinyl retains a beautiful 'just pressed' lustre. When the 'Big Four', Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, shared a stage together on June 22nd 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, the show was beamed live into over 550 theatres worldwide via satellite in a special HD cinematic event.

On November 1st 2010, this legendary concert will be available on DVD through Universal/Vertigo. 'The Big Four Live From Sofia' includes full shows from all four bands on a two disc set as well as behind the scenes and interview footage. In addition to the two DVD set and the corresponding Blu-ray, there will be a limited edition "super deluxe" box set including the DVD set, five CD's with ALL the music, a 24 page booklet, a poster, photos of each band, and a Big 4 guitar pick.

These four legendary acts broke out of the underground thrash movement in the 1980’s to dominate the metal world, selling millions of records and packing arenas across the globe. Despite huge demand, these musical giants had never shared the same stage. The legendary June 22nd 2010 concert from the tour’s stop of the Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria aired the same day in 79 movie theaters in the U.K, over 450 theaters in over 140 markets in the U.S., as well as being beamed into theaters in Europe, Canada, Latin America, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

In December 2009, the bands announced that they would be joining forces to take part in the traveling Sonisphere Festival for only 7 shows across Europe. This one-time only event from the Sofia show made it possible for fans far and wide to participate in what otherwise was a very limited run of dates, and now for the first time there are all in one place on this DVD release.

Recorded during the late spring of the year, the album's creation was thrown into turmoil by the poor health and sad eventual passing of Philip Campbell's father; the situation dictated that Philip needed to be home during some of the scheduled recording time, so Motorhead hired a studio in Wales where Campbell was able to continue working on ideas and record tracks whilst first Mikkey and Lemmy, and then just Lemmy, laid down the rest of the album in LA. But being Motorhead nothing phased them, and with 'The Wörld Is Yours' the band have triumphed over adversity to produce an absolute stormer in this, their 35th year as THE greatest, loudest and just plain goddam coolest band around.
