Following up on their incredibly successful sophomore release, 'A Beautiful Lie', multi-platinum rock band Thirty Seconds To Mars are hard at work on their highly anticipated upcoming record, 'This Is War' set for release on December 7th. The album was produced by Flood [U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails], Steve Lillywhite [The Rolling Stones, U2] and Thirty Seconds To Mars. First single 'Kings and Queens' is currently playlisted at Radio 1, XFM and Kerrang and is climbing the airplay charts. The band also recently announced a UK show on November 16th at Koko in London which sold out in minutes.
Thirty Seconds To Mars' Jared Leto [vocals, guitar, songwriter], Shannon Leto [drums] and Tomo Milicevic [guitar] teamed up with their fan community, 'The Echelon', earlier this year to record
sounds for the upcoming record in a groundbreaking event they dubbed, 'The Summit'. The band invited The Echelon members to travel to Los Angeles to take part in an impromptu recording session at Hollywood's Avalon Club. It was so successful that since then Thirty Seconds to Mars decided to hold summits in 8 more countries across the world [Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, Canada] in order to give their biggest supporters an opportunity to be a part of their new album.
In an innovative and exciting move, Thirty Seconds to Mars' upcoming release, 'This Is War', will have 2000 different album covers featuring individual photos of fans from around the world limited to the initial manufacturing run.

Rising from the ashes of the Sex Pistols in 1978, Public Image Limited were by definition one of the pioneers of post-punk groups. With John Lydon's vocals complemented by ex-Clash guitarist Keith Levene, drummer Jim Walker and the now legendary Jah Wobble on bass, the group created a more dub orientated style and their innovative music earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums in a period stretching over three decades.
In fact, PiL never officially split and John Lydon has recently announced a series of live dates across the
UK this December. To coincide with these hugely anticipated gigs their most popular and critically acclaimed studio album has been given the complete remastering treatment. PiL's second album
'Metal Box' (released in Dec 1979) was originally released on three 45 rpm discs (to cope with Jah's intense bass!) and housed in a metal film canister. The landmark album has now been fully remastered for the first time and will be released on three CDs in a metal tin case to pay homage to the original.
To supplement this release, the long-deleted 'The Plastic Box' album will also be re-issued. Originally released in 1999, the 4CD album provides a complete overview the band's work, including tracks taken from every album together with John Peel sessions, remixes and much more.
