Though I didn't manage to secure tickets myself, reviews look good for Spiritualized's double header several days ago at the Royal Festival Hall, as Jason Pierce et al performed their 1997 masterpiece in its full glory again. Surely one of the greatest albums of the nineties and certainly my favourite, so much so maybe balcony tickets at the Barbican for the December gigs don't seem like such a bad idea after all...
