Featuring 'Obsessed' and new single 'I Want To Know What Love Is' (the huge cover of the Foreigner classic ballad), Memoirs... is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Mariah's multi-platinum-selling album E=MC², and her worldwide 10 million selling The Emancipation of Mimi. Mariah also made Billboard history when she became the first female lead artist in 47 years to hold the #1 and #2 positions on the Billboard charts with 'We Belong Together' and 'Shake It Off.' Three years later, internationally acclaimed E=MC² hit number #3 in the UK charts on release. The album's success brought total sales of Mariah's albums, singles and videos to more than 80-times platinum in the U.S. alone, and over 200 million worldwide, distancing her even further from the pack as the top-selling female recording artist in history.

LA ROUX 'I'm Not Your Toy' [Release Date 28/09/2009]
C5 I 12": Following on from two smash hit singles that have together sold over 900,000 copies to date and a Mercury Award nominated number one album, La Roux return this autumn with brand new single 'I'm Not Your Toy' ahead of a sold out November tour across the UK. Part synth pop classic, part future pop blueprint, the unforgettably catchy 'I'm Not Your Toy' is set to be La Roux's next instant classic and is as sure to take up residence in your brain as its predecessors. With her own sci fi disco ice queen style cut from the same iconically androgynous mould as Grace Jones and Annie Lennox and looking as otherworldly as Tilda Swinton in an electro remake of the Man Who Fell To Earth, La Roux has ripped up the 2009 pop star rule book, already becoming an accidental fashion heroine, a pop star as beloved of fashion journalists as much as radio DJs. Remixes come from Data and Jack Beats.

THE YEAH YOU'S 'Looking Through You' [Release Date 28/09/2009]
C5: "Tunes so massive they would dominate your field of vision if you were standing 80 miles away (we're talking tunes bigger than the sun here)" - NME "Big, sing-along anthems" - The Sun "There is an unavoidably brilliant thing going on in their tunes" - Popjustice "Soundtracking Summer..." - Q The duo, Mike Kintish & Nick Ingram, who have been widely tipped for success in 2009, are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album, which will be released this summer. The album was written in keyboard player Mike Kintish's bedroom in London and recorded in LA with Greg Wells [Mika, Katy Perry & Rufus Wainwright]. The album was preceded by the band's second single 'Getting Up With You' on Aug 31st. 'Looking Through You' contains 11 new songs, including their debut hit single '15 Minutes', a wry look at pop stardom that, ironically, propelled the duo onto the pages of NME and Q whilst also leading to an appearance on breakfast tv, neatly illustrating the prescience of the lyric.
KAREN O AND THE KIDS 'Where The Wild Things Are OST' [Release Date 28/09/2009]
CD: Inside Karen O is a Wild Thing - as singer for the Grammy-nominated Yeah Yeah Yeahs, her wild thing is in your face, vulnerable, obnoxious, tender, exciting... a self-proclaimed "spazoid." To Oscar-nominated 'Where the Wild Things Are' director Spike Jonze, however, Karen O and her music possess something of a child-like innocence, a guileless charm that put her exactly on the right emotional wavelength to sonically capture the film, be it a tender moment or a wild rumpus. To compose the music, O enlisted friends and fellow musicians she believed had a musical intuition that would bolster her intent to marry sound to vision. Dubbed Karen O and the Kids, these include Tristan Bechet [Services], Tom Biller [co-producer with Karen O and member of Afternoons], Bradford Cox [Deerhunter], Brian Chase [Yeah Yeah Yeahs], Dean Fertita [Queens of the Stone Age, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs], Aaron Hemphill [Liars], Greg Kurstin [The Bird and the Bee], Jack Lawrence [The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, The Greenhornes], Oscar Michel [Gris Gris], Imaad Wasif [New Folk Implosion, Alaska], Nick Zinner [Yeah Yeah Yeahs] and an untrained children's choir. "I didn't want to make music that was hammering you over the head or go for some kind of pushbutton emotion," O says. "What I initially wanted to do was close to Cat Stevens in Harold & Maude, really simple, but memorably and seamlessly woven into the movie." "Working with all these highly-empathetic musicians over of a couple of years on this soundtrack was a lesson in the power of collaboration." says O. Together, Karen O and the Kids created songs that are at times gargantuan and at others stripped-down and bittersweet. Jonze pushed O to pour as much heart and soul as she could muster into the songs, reminding her that the music would play a heavy role in the film. That's saying a lot, considering it's based on the Maurice Sendak classic [one of the most beloved books of all time] with a screenplay co-written by Jonze and author and McSweeney's publisher Dave Eggers. 'Where the Wild Things Are' is ultimately a story about childhood and the places we go to figure out the world we live in.

ZERO 7 'Yeah Ghost' [Release Date 28/09/2009]
CD: Think you've got the Zero 7 sound pegged? Well, in the time-honoured tradition of press releases we urge you to think again. The duo - Mercury Music Prize and Grammy-nominated Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker - really have pushed the boundaries to breaking point. While they've been known and loved as the godfathers of exquisite ambient and downbeat pop for the best part of a decade, their latest album 'Yeah Ghost ' is like nothing you've heard by them before. With the tempo ratcheted right up, Yeah Ghost's battery of new ideas is set to jolt the world out of the reverie they've held it in thus far. Spanning everything from dance pop to acoustic folk and everything in between it's an idea-splattered work of genius that even includes a quartet of instrumental tracks derived from their experimental side projects and sampled, overdubbed and rebuilt from scratch. From the evocative intro 'Count Me Out' to the album's shuffling, twitchy closer 'All Of Us' - via the haunting 'Solastalgia' and 'Ghost Symbol' avant-garde electronic and distorted vocals - it's Zero 7 as you've never heard them before. 'Destiny' this aint. One thing that remains consistent though is the roll call of up-and-coming talent on vocal duties, including singer Eska Mtungwazi. The Londoner, whose collaboration credits include Matthew Herbert and Bugs In The Attic, appears on 'Mr McGee', 'Medicine Man', 'Sleeper' and 'The Road'.
