Rockabilly seems to be the 'in thing' round these parts this week. Not only do we have Imelda May's latest blaring out in the office for the umpteenth time, but a number of LP compilations of authentic rockabilly sounds have recently come our way. With got obscure artists, some well knowns, we've got all bases covered on the label front - Mercury, Sun, Capitol, Okeh, Ace, Chess, Federal, King, Vee Jay, Roulette, Arcade... we've even got the Brits doing it. So go on, break out the brill cream and Lucky Strikes, roll those cuffs high and dance like it's... well you pick the year, you've good choice!
