Rare 1985 German only 9-track red Polydor label LP compilation, one in a series of ten 'Music For Meditation' albums, this volume features highlights from the Jean-Michel Jarre albums 'Oxygene' & 'Equinoxe'. Housed in a glossy picture sleeve, the artwork features a section of a 'Great landscape with rainbow' painting by the Italian artist Ul de Rico - each part of the series features a different section of the image which once put together creates the complete picture. The sleeve on this copy has only a few very light storage marks on the edges with the vinyl in immaculate condition

YES Relayer

Original 1974 UK picture label 3-track vinyl LP with A1/B6 matrices and 'pecko' run-out groove etching, known for being influenced by Patrick Moraz who took over for this album whilst Rick Wakeman temporarily departed the band with Moraz's more eclectic, percussive style of playing making a unique mark in the Yes sound and making the album stand out in the back catalogue. Including the incredible 'The Gates Of Delerium', Roger Dean designed gatefold picture sleeve complete with original thick card lyric inner. The sleeve shows just minimal signs of storage but is otherwise in great shape whilst the vinyl looks barely played! - a nice copy K50096

Each disc is housed in a unique card wallet picture sleeve, all presented in a stunning outer picture box featuring great in-session studio photo montage of theband and full tracklisting on the reverse - MINT!

BIG WALTER HORTON Southern Comfort

Very rare 1969 UK purple London label 11-track stereo LP. Mighty Baby fans take note! The legend goes that Walter Shakey Horton visited the UK in 1968 for a festival, inadvertently teaming up with guitarist Martin Stone (Savoy Brown and Mighty Baby). bassist Jerome Arnold (the Butterfield Blues Band) and drummer Jessie C. Lewis (Otis Rush), with rented session time to produce this remarkable album. Martin was heavily under the influence of Hendrix at the time, and apparently ol' 'Shakey' was heavily under the influence of booze, passing out and leaving the rest of the group to end on an epic 12-minute psychedelic raga! ZIOR Zior

German Global label 12-track stereo vinyl LP issue of the 1971 progressive hard rock album by the English band who sprang to existence right on the cusp of the progressive-folk and pysch-blues expanding movements as they ushered in proto-metal and beyond. Front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with the 'Love Cannot Exist In Hell...' quotation on the front, showing a little laminate lift and minor wear to the opening edge but otherwise in great shape, this copy is graded VG+ as there are some light surface marks to the vinyl indicating play and a small annotation of the previous owner's name handwritten on the B side label, however the labels are very clean with no spindle marking and the vinyl retains a lush, bright lustre - A nice copy of this early rock rarity, recommended much for fans of early Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer and Grand Funk Railroad to name just a few!

BOB DYLAN Highway 61 Revisited

1973 UK stereo pressing of the 1965 LP with "smooth" finish orange CBS labels, featuring classics 'Like A Rolling Stone' and the title track. Non-laminated non-flipack picture sleeve with liner notes on the reverseand period-correct original 'The Inner Sleeve' CBS advert inner. The matrix endings are A2/B2 and the vinyl looks barely, if at all, played with no spindle wear evident -- a truly fabulous MINT condition example! SBGP62572

The sleeve shows only light foxing on the outside & the vinyl is immaculate - a fantastic copy! OP-80261

THE RAMONES Ramones

Very Rare 1976 Japanese 14-track Philips label vinyl LP album, housed in its original pasted picture sleeve complete with Japanese/lyric insert & 'We Are Punk Generation' obi-strip. The sleeve on this copy has some light foxing evident to the front & reverse cover and the obi has a tear through the middle which has been repaired. The vinyl within is showing just one or two cosmetic hairline surface marks on Side 1 but otherwise retains a clean, bright lustre - anexcellent copy! Original Ramones albums with obi-strips are extremely seldom found and are a highly sought after must have! RJ-7175

Original 1974 UK pink rim 'palm tree' Island label 8-track LP, ranking as one of the best albums from the Bruford/Wetton period.  Both the textured gatefold sleeve and vinyl are as close to mint as you're likely to find this side of a sealed copy - a beautiful example of this masterpiece! ILPS9275

The sleeve show only minimal shelfwear with a light fold line evident to the obi, despite a light surface mark to indicate play on Side 2 of the vinyl it remains a stunning copy overall! EOP-80479

JOHN WETTON 'Raised In Captivity' [Release Date 04/07/2011]

John Wetton's sixth solo album is shaping up to be a true career landmark for the British singer/songwriter. In January 2011, with a brief break in between touring commitments for the 30th Anniversary of U.K. and a US Asia tour, he headed over to California to write and record with former Yes, World Trade and Yoso producer and multi-instrumentist Billy Sherwood.

After intense studio recording work, Wetton emerged with a strong bunch of new songs which he describes as "'an Anglo-American music document, a true autobiographical journey". Indeed 'Raised in Captivity' is a record that truly sums up several of the musical elements that have shaped Wetton's career. Firstly a lot of his former (and current) musical partners are appearing on this new album: Robert Fripp [King Crimson], Eddie Jobson [UK], Mick Box [Uriah Heep], Steve Hackett [Genesis], Steve Morse [Deep Purple] and of course Geoff Downes of Asia.

Musically, the record intends to offer a more rocking aspect of Wetton's songwriting and performing abilities, akin to his now classic album 'Battlelines', though not forgetting his abilities to perform on majestic harmonies over symphonic musical tapestries – particularly poignant is his duet with Dutch singer Anneke Van Giersbergen on 'Mighty Rivers' the closing song of the album.

John Wetton has been a member of several prominent British bands of the 70s. After two albums with Family he joined King Crimson from 1972 to 1974, before working with Roxy Music and Uriah Heep. In 1977, with former Crimson band mate and drummer Bill Bruford, he co-founded U.K., which also featured guitarist Allan Holdsworth and keyboardist/violinist Eddie Jobson.

After U.K.'s demise, John decided to turn his attentions to a solo career and entered the studio to record 'Caught in the Crossfire,' an album that, in hindsight, shows a logical bridge from the music of U.K. to the eventual music of Asia, showcasing Wetton's love for short and simple melodies over the lengthy strains of progressive rock.

In 1982, John became part of the Supergroup Asia, together with Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and Geoff Downes. This "fab four" of progressive pop would rule radio and record sales, with their debut album becoming the biggest selling album of the year and giving us the worldwide hit 'Heat of the Moment'.
Wetton remained prolific with four more solo studio albums and several collaborative efforts over the years. However it was at a John Wetton fan convention held in 2002 in Allentown, PA that he started working again with Geoff Downes. This collaboration brought first two new songs which appeared on Wetton's 'Rock of Faith' album and they later recorded the successful 'iCon' albums, followed in early 2006 by the anticipated reunion of Asia's original lineup, bringing about two successful new studio albums 'Phoenix' in 2008 and 'Omega' in 2010.

John Wetton's continued success over the decades and his impressive legacy has certainly stood the test of time. 'Raised in Captivity' is just the latest gem in an ongoing list of musical works that will certainly stand tall amongst the amazing musical works he produced during the years.

The much anticipated album by Blondie will be released on July 4th. The Album entitled 'Panic of Girls' will be the bands ninth studio album following 'The Curse of Blondie', which was released in 2003.

Debbie, Chris and Clem have once again united together to create the new album, produced by Jeff Saltzman [The Killers] and Kato Khandwala [My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach]. The new album promises to encapsulate the true character and spirit of the sound of Blondie. The album was written and recorded in a number of locations in the US, including New York, New Jersey and Los Angeles. The single 'Mother' received a first play on the Ken Bruce show on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday 17th March 2011. It is to be released on May 23rd 2011.

In addition to the launch of 'Panic of Girls', Blondie will be touring the UK and Europe this summer, playing a selection of the biggest and best festivals, as well as a number of headline dates.  They’ll be sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in music today such as Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Scissor Sisters, Jessie J, Weezer, Bruno Mars and more.

This has been fully AUTOGRAPHED by the late great Keith Moon & John Entwistle, plus surviving members Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend on the white lettering of the band name in a black ball point pen. This has a white surround and is framed in a black & gold wooden frame.
