DEEP PURPLE In Rock

Original 1970 UK 7-track Harvest LP with 'Gramophone Co Ltd' label credit, no EMI logo and A2/B1 matrices, and original company inner, featuring the classic line-up and including Speed King and Child In Time. The laminated gatefold sleeve has only slight creasing to the laminate, yet the spine is clearly legible and the print unblemished. There are some very light signs of spindle wear to the label but nothing severe, has one or two light cosmetic marks, that willnot affect play of this timeless record, making this a very serviceable EX copy at a great price.

 

LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin III

1970 UK first pressing 10-track stereo vinyl LP on the plum & red Atlantic label, with A5/B5 matrixes, 'Do What Thou Wilt' & 'So Mote It Be' scratched into the runoff area, superb fully laminated gatefold die cut picture sleeve with rotating picture wheel. Showing just a few light marks from storage the sleeve is in great shape. The labels have only the lightest of spindle marks and just a few cosmetic surface marks are evident on the vinyl. Overall a very nice EX copy of this rarity, 40+ years on!

 

TONY OXLEY QUINTET The Baptised Traveller

Rare 1969 UK CBS 'Realm Jazz Series' green label LP, featuring the Quintet with guitarist Derek Bailey, saxophonist Evan Parker, trumpeter Kenny Wheeler and bassist Jeff Clyne, and contains four explosive free-jazz workouts! The front laminated sleeve shows just a little wear at the opening edge and the vinyl reveals only a couple of light surface marks but plays superb - an excellent copy and very hard to find!

Rare 1990 UK limited edition mail-order only picture box featuring 10 x double pack 12" singles. Containing 63 live and studio tracks including Sanctuary and Flight Of Icarus with live versionsof Running Free and Run To The Hills. Each double pack come in their own gatefold picture sleeve with the 'The First Ten Years/Up The Irons' motif and all individual stickered. All housed in a 12¾" x 12¾" x 3" picture box which is graded as EX+ as has some minor scuffing and and general storage wear to the front, while the contents themselves are all in outstanding condition with only a few minor storage marks on a couple of the sleeves, the vinyl is in near mint shop bought condition and looks barely, if at all played!!

Rare 1970 UK 7-track stereo LP, a free-jazz firestorm as performed by what you'd normally expect to be reserved Brits! No such thing here, with Malcolm Griffiths, John Taylor, Chris Lawrence, Tony Levin plus John Surmanand Mike Osborne causing havoc in the studio. The fully laminated sleeve shows minimal wear and despite a few spindle marks to the label the vinyl is clean with no blemishes - a nice example!

Rare 1982 UK 'A Special Limited Edition Commemorative Set' 23-track PICTURE DISC 2-LP album box set complete with 12-page chronology/discography booklet, replica 'Eurovision Song Contest' ticket from Brighton Dome on 6 April 1974 & 24" x 24" glossy full colour poster. Housed in a black 12" x 12" black textured box with silver embossed titles plus original sticker on the front. The lid of the box has only some very light signs of corner wear in the top left hand, and the front shows one mark where a sticker has been removed, however the vinyl shows no signs of being played and is a fantastic collectors item!

Backed with Leyroy [sic] Reid's [AKA Nehemiah Reid] fine Rocksteady dancer. Intact 4-prong centre with the vinyl showing only very minor cosmetic marks on this absolute cracker on the Boss Blue Cat label- Essential.

MONICA ZETTERLUND Swedish Sensation

Very tough to find original 1958 UK 12-track mono LP on a dark green & gold Columbia label, the debut album from the Swedish vocal jazz sensation issued for export only. Monica is backed by Sweden's finest jazz-musicians of the era including Arne Domnerus plus a special guest appearance from American trumpeter Donald Byrd there on flying visit. The sleeve is fully laminated with 'scalloped' flipbacks and in near mint condition - a conservative grading, this looks simply stunning. The labels to the vinyl are immaculate with XCSX.110-1 / XCSX.111-1 matrix stamper codes; the disc is bright and clean with no blemishes or any indication of play at all - a beautiful MINT vinyl copy of this impossibly rare LP.

THE KINKS The Kink Kontroversy

Original 1965 UK Pye label 12-track MONO vinyl LP - A bluesy-er themed album from the Muswell Hill dandys; kicking off with Milk Cow Blues and storming through Where Have All The Good Times Gone but, leading later,into the beautiful Til The End Of The Day which showcases Ray's competency as a songwriter and power chord arranger par-excellence! Now, down to the nitty gritty. This copy is housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows only a few signs of age, with some light spinewear and some faint discolouration to the reverse. The vinyl appears to be in almost mint condition, with only minor spindle wear to indicate play. It remains an excellent example of this mid 60's masterpiece.

The pasted sleeve shows only light chipping to the edge ofthe laminate but is otherwise excellent. Despite a few spindle marks to the labels the vinyl is nice and clean and plays through to an excellent standard - a lovely copy of this British jazz gem!

Scarce very early 1977 UK white label test pressing of the vinyl LP without the finished catalogue number PCTC256. This early pressing of the 12-track compilation album has 'YEX983/4-1' numbers stamped in the matrix plus 'Mastered at Abbey Road - Nick' hand scratched in the 'dead wax' area. Both sides of the vinyl are in MINT condition and show no sign of play - an amazing addition to any Paul McCartney and Wings collection!

Rare 1994 UK promotional only 13" x 19" over-sized photograph book bound with black ribbon. This stunning and simply luxuriously presented book features lots of sexy and sultry photographs with many see-thru lingerie shots. It is presented complete with it's original matt black presentation box, although this is opened and has a small label tear mark. A truly stunning collectable that we do not come across for sale very often.

Very rare 1957 UK 7" vinyl single on the purple HMV label, with intact four prong push-out centre & gold lettering, also featuring That's When Your Heartaches Begin, His Master's Voice company die cut paper sleeve. Thevinyl on this copy remains in a wonderful VG+/EX- condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for its fifty five years & it plays without fault. A very respectable copy of this rare Elvis original UK single!

So often found in poor condition as a result of their fragile nature, this copy is in fantastic condition & would still be graded EX/EX- if on vinyl.

Original legendary and long deleted 1992 UK large spiral bound book featuring Madonna in many erotic poses! Superb metal cover with title stamped on the front, in opened foil outer wrapper and also includes the bonus Erotica promotional CD which has the re-sealable foil sleeve! - not for the faint-hearted!

Rare 2000 US promotional 27" x 40" double sided movie poster advertising the release of the film, featuring a blurred eye test chart of the movie title with the other side printed in a mirror/reverse image. This has beenboldly AUTOGRAPHED by Bjork on the reverse side in a silver marker pen. This copy has a couple of small tears on the edges and a bigger tear in the bottom right corner which doesn't effect the signature and all would me minimized or camouflaged by framing - stunning item at an advantageous price!
